Seen here in an extra white colourway with bright pops of ultraviolet and jaune fluo these Womens Campo Easy Shoes from Veja have smooth chrome free leather uppers with a gum sole made from wild rubber sourced from the Amazonian forest. The lace up fastening helps to keep the foot in place whilst on the move and the flexible leather tongue curves around the top of the foot with a padded underside for all day comfort and a grey tone Veja logo printed on the outside. On either side panel large ultraviolet coloured ‘V’ overlays have been cut from chrome free leather and bring a bright burst of colour to the design whilst around the back of the heel an additional jaune fluo coloured overlay provides a background for bold ‘VEJA’ lettering in white. Underneath this to one side additional ‘VEJA’ lettering has been embossed with a metallic silver fill for a deluxe touch. Throughout the inside an organic cotton and recycled polyester lining has been added for comfort whilst the insole is made from wild rubber blended with other synthetic materials. An additional textured panel of wild Amazonian rubber wraps around the front of the toes for additional abrasion resistance and an intricate box print covers the tread.

Designed in Paris and made in the Porto Alegre region of Brazil this new colourway in the Campo Easy Shoe expresses Veja’s ongoing efforts to create sustainable and consciously made footwear styles that show the positive impact and processes that the industry can adopt. The brainchild of François-Ghislain Morillion and Sébastien Kopp, Veja launched their first trainer in 2005 and continue to add new designs to their offerings which incorporate recycled materials, Amazonian rubber and upcycled fabrics to simplistic, stylish footwear.
